Big Canyon is more than just a large country club with a golf course. This area also has a large residential area on the golf course. The Big Canyon neighborhood is guard-gated with 24-hour security to protect its residents. Many of the people who live in this area are executives and the elite of the city of Newport Beach. Besides being on one of the most elite golf courses in Newport Beach, Big Canyon is home to plenty of dining places, entertainment centers, shopping malls, and art exhibits.
One of our favorite locations is the Bayside Restaurant. New American cuisine comes to life in this custom-designed location overlooking Newport Harbor. Award-winning Executive Chef Paul Gstrein brings culinary drama to his inventive dishes for lunch, dinner and the enormously popular Champagne Sunday Brunch served at the Bayside Restaurant in Newport Beach, CA. Lunch, dinner or brunch dining may all be enjoyed al fresco on our wrap-around patio, made comfortable with built-in heaters and sun drapes. Complementing the kitchen is a circular glass wine cellar that boasts more than 2500 bottles of wine favorites from around the world.
Newport Center contains high- and mid-rise office and residential buildings, hotels and Fashion Island, one of the most exclusive shopping and dining destinations in Southern California.
The Big Canyon neighborhood is bordered by major roads including Jamboree Road, MacArthur Boulevard, Ford Road, and San Joaquin Road. Jamboree Road is a major route that begins at Bayside Cove and runs all the way to the city Orange. This road allow people to have access to many of the restaurants and retail shops in Newport Beach.
MacArthur Boulevard runs though the different neighborhoods in Newport Beach as well as Orange. San Joaquin Road eventually turns into Newport Coast Drive. Newport Coast Drive connects with State Route 73, which starts near Costa Mesa and ends in San Juan Capistrano.
